Description
Darkhorse | Sic | Beginner Softboard | Learn To Surf board | Hi Tech Foamie
Limited Stock – a 5’8 may be available now. 8’4 on pre-order and new stock expected April.
The instant we seen this board, apart from our natural instinct to go surf it, was that we needed as many learners and beginners to find out about it as possible – and for them to have one. We’ve called it a hi-tech foamie and it is a softboard – but it is also quite rigid, and you can feel it’s inner strength when handling it. More about the construction later.
If you are new to surfing, an absolute beginner -just learning to surf. The Sic Darkhorse could be the most perfect solution for you. Stable to get you standing up, paddles well so that you can catch waves, won’t hurt as much as a fibreglass if you fall on it, or if it hits you.
Whats even better is, as you develop your skills, it still has the ability to perform more advanced manoeuvres than other traditional foamies. You can learn to trim across the face of waves, do bottom and top turns and so much more like re-entries off the lip and floaters, which means you will be more interested in riding and progressing with this board, instead of growing out of it too quickly. Let’s face it the Darkhorse looks good, and has a tail paid already fixed which is an added bonus. This learner board represents enormous value if it’s just for you starting your learn to surf journey – but it’s more likely about to become the centre of fun for you, your family, and your friends.Â
If you are intermediate or expert, these boards will far outperform your expectations, offering you a real excitement to see how far you can push the envelope. Yes – it can handle a solid swell.Â
